DESCRIPTION:EARL MURRAY BLAIR \n\nWas born on October 25\, 1952\, at the Fox Memorial Hospital in Carberry\, MB. \nHe passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg\, January 9\, 2026\, at the age of 73\, with his family by his side. \nEarl leaves to mourn his loving wife of 45 years\, Linda; their two sons\, Travis (Niki) and Adam (Charissa); two children from his first marriage\, Sandy (Mel) and Kevin from Brandon; and eight grandchildren. His four brothers and three sisters also survive him. \nEarl was predeceased by his parents\, Gerald and Edith Blair and his first wife\, Gwendolyn. \nEarl attended Carberry High School and had various jobs. He worked at Mackenzie Seeds in Brandon\, MB. He also worked for 12 years at the Manitoba Parks Department in Carberry as a carpenter\, a trade in which he became very skilled and enjoyed throughout his life. His skills and talents served him well during several years of self-employment and countless home renovation projects. \nLater in life\, Earl worked full-time in maintenance at the Winnipeg Sun. He retired in 2020. \nEarl’s hobbies included carpentry and stained glass\, and some of his pieces were shipped worldwide (Germany). His other hobbies included gardening\, he loved cooking (particularly barbecuing) and baking\, which he learned from his mom. He also loved the pet cats he had over the years; Benjamin\, Spooker\, Lucas\, Chloe and Pepper\, and Calico\, with his latest being Baxter. \nMany thanks to the staff at HSC (emergency\, SICU\, A5 step down). In memory of Earl\, donations can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. \nA Celebration of Life will be held in Winnipeg at Springs Church (725 Lagimodiere) at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday\, January 22\, 2026\, officiated by Pastor Danny Michael. A second Celebration of Life will be held in Sidney\, Manitoba\, on February 16\, 2026\, at 1:00 p.m. (Sidney Town Hall).

DESCRIPTION:ELIZABETH PETRONELA (PAT) MCNAB \n(nee FEDOROWICH) \nFebruary 15\, 1945 – December 16\, 2025 \n\nAfter a brief battle with cancer\, it is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Elizabeth (Pat) McNab on December 16\, 2025\, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg\, Manitoba. \nPat was born in Winnipeg on February 15\, 1945 and was the youngest child of a family of five children. She told us the story of how if she were born on Valentine’s Day\, the day before\, her sister Mary insisted that her name would be Valentine. She also told stories of how she was “Daddy’s girl” and was very spoiled by him. Being the youngest\, her brothers were also very protective of her. She was predeceased by her father\, Stephan Fedorowich; mother\, Anna Taras; brothers\, Edward Fedorowich and Dennis Fedorowich; sisters Julie Henderson and Mary Connolly; nephews Terrence Connolly\, James Fedorowich and Fredrick Fedorowich; and brother-in-law Bernie Connolly. She is survived by her only daughter\, Catherine (Cathy) Hildebrand\, son-in-law Grant\, her granddaughters Stephanie Fast (Tim) and Alexandria (Alyx) O’Neill (Dan); great-grandsons Lucious Fast and Rowan O’Neill\, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews\, who fondly called her “Aunty Patsy” and sister-in-law\, Rose Fedorowich. She is also survived by relatives in Ukraine. Her greatest joy and love was her family and she loved being with them. She also loved to entertain and cook and was very good at it. She was a born-again Christian and brought her close family along. She loved Church and serving at Church\, always smiling\, always cheerful and lending a hand when and where she could. She also volunteered for her granddaughter’s dance school and volunteered at her apartment as a welcoming person. She also loved to travel in her life and travelled a lot in her younger years. The most memorable place she visited was her Mom’s homeland in Western Ukraine\, visiting the relatives there and seeing the village where her Mother was born. She also travelled to Egypt\, Jerusalem\, Hawaii\, and New York City. She made friends easily and was always the life of the party. She lived life to her fullest\, until her health started to fail. She was a very strong and independent woman and had a lot of spunk! I always admired her positive\, cheerful and outgoing personality. She had several career positions\, such as a nurse\, administrative clerical and accounting positions and went back to school to become a legal adminstrative assistant. In her last years of work she started her own cleaning business called “White Glove”. \nWe want to thank the wonderful doctors\, nurses\, aides and staff of Ward 5B of the St. Boniface Hospital. You were kind\, caring and extremely helpful for my Mom and our family. You helped us through a very difficult time in our lives and we are grateful. We would like to thank all family and friends that came to visit my Mom\, had telephone and video chats and sent their well wishes. I know she really appreciated that. We couldn’t have done it without you. \nA Celebration of Life will be held on Friday\, January 2\, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Springs Church\, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd.\, Winnipeg\, Manitoba. DESCRIPTION:DAVID JAMES DECUYPERE \n\n\nNovember 4\, 1959 – September 15\, 2025 \n\n\nIt is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of David DeCuypere on September 15\, 2025\, at Health Sciences Centre. \nDavid is survived by his mother\, Henrietta DeCuypere; brother\, Michael\, and his wife\, Joane; nephew\, Nicolas Laurencelle\, his wife\, Jamii\, and their daughter\, Tora; as well as many cousins\, aunts\, uncles\, and extended family. \nDavid worked at the Dakota Community Centre / Jonathan Toews Sportsplex. He enjoyed traveling on road trips all over the south and camping. Dave had a dog named Shady\, and as she grew older and could no longer walk\, Dave would sometimes take an hour to carry her down the stairs\, place her in a wagon\, and take her for a walk. Dave joked at Health Sciences Centre\, when we visited and took him outside in his wheelchair\, that we would walk him like he did for Shady Lady. \nDave spent time in Texas with Calvary Commission. He also served in the army medical unit as a teenager and spent time in Belize helping to build homes. \nDave was a very spiritual person and a member of Springs Church. He fought this horrible disease\, ALS\, while praying for a miracle. \nA service for Dave will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday\, December 16\, 2025\, at Springs Church located at 725 Lagimodiere Blvd in Winnipeg. \nIn lieu of flowers\, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba in Dave’s memory. \nDave’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos\, memories\, and stories\, using the comment section on this page.

DESCRIPTION:Elaine Shirley Rex \nJanuary 24\, 1932 – November 3\, 2025  \nOn November 3\, 2025 at the age of 93\, Elaine Shirley Rex peacefully passed away at her home at Donwood Manor and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour\, Jesus Christ. \nShe is survived by her daughter Jan (Roy)\, son Connor\, grandchildren\, Courtney (Dan)\, Katelyn (Brandon)\, Jessica and Cody\, and great-grandchildren\, Chase\, Greyson\, Hazel\, Ethan\, Sophia and Blake.  She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years\, Alfred Rex\, and her two siblings Marlene and Barry Wall. \nElaine was born in Clearwater\, Manitoba on January 24\, 1932\, to Mabel and Wilbert Wall. Elaine loved nature\, gardening and the outdoors. She was her dad’s right hand and naturally she learned to milk cows and assist on the farm at a young age. Hiking in the valley\, fishing in the creek\, target practice with her dad\, playing hide and seek with her mom and knitting were her favourite childhood activities! \nElaine excelled in school and was a skilled baseball player! She had a passion for music and even won the coveted Rose Bowl trophy as a soloist on two occasions! \nElaine graduated from high school in Crystal City in June of 1950 and obtained her teaching certificate at Manitoba Normal School in Winnipeg. It’s no surprise she pursued a career in teaching as her life’s mission was to help others and be a servant to those around her. Elaine was empathetic\, kind\, thoughtful\, patient\, loving and understanding. Her impact on those around her was monumental and her kindness and gentleness was deeply felt by all who knew her. \nElaine met the love of her life\, Alfred\, at a young people’s group in Darlingford\, MB\, and they married on July 31\, 1954. Faith was an essential part of their lives. Their personal relationship with the Lord grew when Alfred\, Elaine and family gave their hearts to the Lord in 1980. Since then\, Elaine was convicted to share the love and story of Jesus with all she met. She was truly a selfless servant\, and the hands and feet of Jesus! Elaine would always say “I begin each day with my Lord\, by thanking Him for His mercies which are new every morning.” Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made\, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” \nElaine will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our family would like to thank her homecare workers\, staff at Concordia Village 1 and Donwood Manor for your care and compassion. She loved you all so dearly. \nA burial will take place in the Spring of 2026 at Thornhill Cemetery. \nA Celebration of Elaine’s life will take place at Springs Church’s 725 Lagimodiere Blvd. location on December 8\, 2025 at 1PM. DESCRIPTION:BEVERLEY ANN MACPHERSON \nSeptember 8\, 1945 – August 4\, 2025 \nBeverley Ann MacPherson (Ingram) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday\, August 4th\, 2025 at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg\, at the age of 79 years young. \nDaughter of the late Charlie and Anna (nee Schultz) Ingram\, she was predeceased by her loving husband John E. MacPherson. Bev was also predeceased by brothers Donald\, Lorne\, Royden (late Rose) and Bud (Diane); as well as sisters Brenda Ingram\, Shirley McManus (late Leo)\, Lorna Desjardins\, June Clouthier (late Rolly) and Joyce Whitelock (late John). \nBev is lovingly remembered by her five children\, Todd (Gwenda)\, Grant\, Matthew\, Benjamin (Leilani)\, and Faith; as “Nana” by her grandchildren\, Kassidy (Dylan)\, Melissa (Zack)\, Evan\, Jonathan\, Elias\, Mikyla\, Arwen\, Xavier\, Azlynn and Bailey; and her great-grandchildren Wells\, Luca\, and Ava. She is also survived by her brothers Doug (Susan)\, Jim\, and Glenn (Dodie); along with numerous nieces\, nephews and extended family. \nBorn and raised in Arnprior\, Ontario\, Beverley was the eighth of the Ingram children and the oldest of the “post-war” children. She met the love of her life\, a young civil engineer\, John MacPherson\, when he moved to Arnprior for work. They were married June 28\, 1969 and were devoted to each other until John’s passing on September 8\, 2008. \nIn her youth\, she was a brown belt in karate and competed in track and field. \nShe was passionate about her family\, her faith and volunteering with her church. She loved to cook and bake for her family\, friends and those in need\, participating in Springs Church Inner City churches food bank program. In her later years she enjoyed watching sports; in particular\, rugby. Bev was known to watch Christmas movies all year long. \nThe family wishes to thank the exceptional care at St. Boniface Hospital\, Grace Hospital and Deer Lodge. As well as her dear friend Kristine DeGraff who was a very important part of mom’s life. \nLoved by all for her kind heart and generous spirit\, a memorial service for Bev will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel in Transcona\, 1800 Day Street\, Winnipeg on Monday\, August 11\, 2025 at 10:00 am. \nIn lieu of flowers\, donations may be made in Bev’s memory to Harvest Manitoba\, 1085 Winnipeg Avenue\, Winnipeg\, MB R3E 0S2 (www.harvestmanitoba.ca).

DESCRIPTION:Katharina Dyck Obituary\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNovember 11\, 1928  –  July 3\, 2025\n\n\n\n\n\nKatharina Dyck (nee Funk)\, 96\, of Niverville\, MB.\, passed away peacefully\, surrounded by her family on Thursday\, July 3\, 2025\, at Niverville Heritage Personal Care Home\, Niverville\, MB. \nShe is survived by two daughters\, four sons and their spouses\, 21 grandchildren\, 23 great-grandchildren\, three sisters and three brothers. \nShe was predeceased by her parents\, five brothers\, one sister and her husband Isaac Dyck. \nMom & Dad got married June 24\, 1951. They were married 69 ½ years before Dad passed in November 2020. Mom was a stay at home mom for many years. She worked at the St. Adolphe nursing home for five years and did homecare as well. Mom & Dad worked together in ministry for 40 years. Tina‘s greatest joy was loving and encouraging people. Together they raised six children. \nThe celebration of life will be held Wednesday\, July 23\, 2025\, at 3:00 p.m.\, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel\, Steinbach\, MB. DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE  |  July 21 – 27 \n \nOur desire is that Summer Camp would be a place where we can kick back and get to know each other. We have structured the days at Summer Camp to be relaxing\, but yet fun and exciting. There is something to do for ALL ages!! \nOur Annual Springs Summer Camp is held at Manhattan Beach Retreat Centre 5 miles east of Ninette\, MB and 1 mile south off Highway #23. \nThere is a wide range of accommodations at Summer Camp to suit both small and large families. There are different sized cabins\, motel rooms\, a full hook-up campground and tent sites. The accommodations range in price from $350.00 – $1\,100.00 for the entire week depending on the size of the accommodation and the amenities in that unit. \nThe camp has a Dining Hall where breakfast\, lunch and dinner can be purchased each day. After the evening services they have snacks and refreshments available. You are welcome to eat all your meals in the Dining Hall or just show up when you feel like ‘taking a break from the kitchen’.
