DESCRIPTION:EARL MURRAY BLAIR \n\nWas born on October 25\, 1952\, at the Fox Memorial Hospital in Carberry\, MB. \nHe passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg\, January 9\, 2026\, at the age of 73\, with his family by his side. \nEarl leaves to mourn his loving wife of 45 years\, Linda; their two sons\, Travis (Niki) and Adam (Charissa); two children from his first marriage\, Sandy (Mel) and Kevin from Brandon; and eight grandchildren. His four brothers and three sisters also survive him. \nEarl was predeceased by his parents\, Gerald and Edith Blair and his first wife\, Gwendolyn. \nEarl attended Carberry High School and had various jobs. He worked at Mackenzie Seeds in Brandon\, MB. He also worked for 12 years at the Manitoba Parks Department in Carberry as a carpenter\, a trade in which he became very skilled and enjoyed throughout his life. His skills and talents served him well during several years of self-employment and countless home renovation projects. \nLater in life\, Earl worked full-time in maintenance at the Winnipeg Sun. He retired in 2020. \nEarl’s hobbies included carpentry and stained glass\, and some of his pieces were shipped worldwide (Germany). His other hobbies included gardening\, he loved cooking (particularly barbecuing) and baking\, which he learned from his mom. He also loved the pet cats he had over the years; Benjamin\, Spooker\, Lucas\, Chloe and Pepper\, and Calico\, with his latest being Baxter. \nMany thanks to the staff at HSC (emergency\, SICU\, A5 step down). In memory of Earl\, donations can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. \nA Celebration of Life will be held in Winnipeg at Springs Church (725 Lagimodiere) at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday\, January 22\, 2026\, officiated by Pastor Danny Michael. A second Celebration of Life will be held in Sidney\, Manitoba\, on February 16\, 2026\, at 1:00 p.m. (Sidney Town Hall).

James Jacob Barclay of Isreal. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Sharon Dugard of Beausejour as well as numerous nieces\, nephews\, cousins and friends. \nHeather is predeceased by her parents Harold and Marge Dugard and Brother Mark Dugard. \nA Celebration of Heather’s life will be held at Springs Church\, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Monday\, January 26\, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
