We’re excited to share our latest progress on the Build the Future project, even as we face some challenging weather conditions!
Manitoba has been experiencing its coldest winter in years, but our dedicated construction team hasn’t let that slow us down. We’ve implemented extensive heating systems with tarps to ensure work continues. This commitment to pushing forward, regardless of the conditions, embodies our project’s spirit.
Here are some exciting milestones we’ve achieved:
- The basement concrete and elevator shaft are now officially complete!
- Main floor and second floor phases 1 and 2 of the hollow-core installation have been completed (50,000 square feet!)
- We’re thrilled to announce that this week, we’ll begin phase 1 roof steel and decking – a major step forward.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Hebrews 12:1-2
Just as this verse reminds us about the importance of perseverance and keeping our eyes fixed on the goal, our construction team continues to demonstrate remarkable dedication and resilience in moving this project forward.
