Wilbert Kroeker Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Wilbert Kroeker will be held on June 10th at 2 pm in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Springs Church – 725 Lagimodiere BIvd.

Wilbert was born to proud parents, Peter and Margaret, on September 1, 1935. On August 12, 1960 he married the love of his life, Myrnie Friesen. Wilbert moved his family from Rosenort to Arden in 1964 to farm in the area. Wilbert devoted his life to his faith, family and farming.

After selling the farm in 2006, they retired to Neepawa. In 2018 Wilbert and Myrnie moved to Winnipeg to be closer to family. On September 8, 2025 Wilbert was moved into Pembina Place PCH. Wilbert passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026 to be with his Lord and Saviour.

Wilbert is survived by his wife Myrnie, his children Rod Kroeker (Lorraine), Lori Bertram (Michael), Darryl Kroeker (Aggie) and Jen Bouchard (Mike), grandchildren Charmayne (Brent), Ben (Melissa), Devon, Kate, Jeff (Samantha), Brandon (Val), Chris (Sydni), Tyrone, Shelby (Matt) and Caelan (Erin), great grandchildren Nevaeh, Maverick, Eden, Harlow and Elena, siblings Marion Plett (Bill) and Irv Kroeker (Dorothy).
