Rita Maria Fauconnier

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Fauconnier on February 1. She is predeceased by her beloved Tony Fauconnier and leaves behind an incredible legacy of love, hope, and joy.

Rita’s spirit lives on through her family-her two daughters, two sons-in-law, ten grandchildren and their six spouses, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was friendly, caring, fun-loving, passionate, spunky, servant-minded, deeply spiritual, and, at times, comedically stubborn. Rita valued family, friends, and her faith above all else. She lived a beautiful life filled with strength, dignity, and grace.

Born in Belgium, she carried with her a deep love of music, dance, and fun, bringing all of it to Canada with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering spirit will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

Rita will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
