Katharina Dyck Obituary

Katharina Dyck (nee Funk), 96, of Niverville, MB., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Niverville Heritage Personal Care Home, Niverville, MB.

She is survived by two daughters, four sons and their spouses, 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.

She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers, one sister and her husband Isaac Dyck.

Mom & Dad got married June 24, 1951. They were married 69 ½ years before Dad passed in November 2020. Mom was a stay at home mom for many years. She worked at the St. Adolphe nursing home for five years and did homecare as well. Mom & Dad worked together in ministry for 40 years. Tina‘s greatest joy was loving and encouraging people. Together they raised six children.

The celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. To join the family via livestream, please click HERE. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date.
